Time Learning Board

Description
Understanding the concept of time passing and how to tell the time when looking at a clock face is central to this Learning Board. There is a clock at the centre of it which has hands that can be turned to show any time of day. As you move the minute hand one complete revolution, the hour hand moves one twelfth of a turn (just like a normal clock). In this way, the time shown always appears correctly. A flip book can be used to confirm the time or to set a challenge ‘Can you show 3 o’clock or quarter past 2?’ for example. For more advanced children, there is a separate block depicting am and pm too. Two sand timers can be flipped on the board to visually show the passage of 1 minute and 3 minutes.
