Description
The Hexagonal Play Tray with 3 Compartments enables 3 separate activities to take place simultaneously or 3 different substances to be handled in the same session such as, shredded paper, pasta twirls and gloop. There is plenty of scope for a child to rotate around the tray comparing the properties of different things or for three children to explore their segment and to tell the others what they have discovered. The tray is made from a light grey coloured plastic so is ideal for the observation of specimens and natural or man-made objects using close-up magnifiers. With 3 segments available, children can be asked to sort out a mixture of items as part of a STEM challenge too. It could play on the groud or placed on the adjustable height stand (ME33048) that the legs are adjustable (450/550/650mm) to cater for toddlers as they grow.
