Ring Stacking Challenge Board New
Recommended Age: 2y+
Description
This product is great for colour recognition. logical thinking, spatial awareness and the development of fine motor skills. When placed on the table a child will see 6 colourful beech rings in red, orange, yellow, green, blue and maroon. There is a tapered peg that connects to a base plinth to create a vertical tower. The rings slot over this to form a stack. Children can use the board in open play to stack and arrange the rings in any order and to replace them back into their correct coloured holding place on the baseboard. In addition, for a more formal challenge, there is a slider button which presents a side view of coloured rings stacked in various sequences. Some of these challenges require all six rings, others less. Children will find they need to concentrate hard to recognise the colour sequences and to replicate them by selecting and placing the rings in the right combination on the tower. As a game, the stacking can be carried out by several children taking it in turns to pick and place the rings, with the other children watching to check they have selected correctly. Simple to play and great fun too!
