Description
The lifecycle of the tadpole turning into a frog is one of nature’s greatest wonders. The tadpole lives underwater and the frog on land making it an amphibian (literally meaning ‘two lives’). The 4 life stages are shown including, frog spawn, tadpole, froglet and adult frog. These can be carefully examined using backlights and push buttons to illuminate individual real-life specimens encapsulated in clear acrylic. Children will want to examine them, discovering their detail, colour and beauty. Discussions about specimens will increase the knowledge and vocabulary that surrounds this wonderous lifecycle.
