1-10 Number Bonds Learning Board

Description
This number bonds learning board is ideal for children who are looking to develop their skills of counting, adding and subtracting. It provides a kinaesthetic learning approach to number value. On the board there are 10 separate tracks (with spaces for 1 tile, up to 10 tiles). Children can select tiles one at a time and place these into the tracks, counting as they do so. Each square tile is coloured – red on one side and blue on the other. Once they have used the tiles in a track and mastered counting-up to a certain number. Take 8 for example, they can place one red tile, and 7 blue tiles in that track to equal 8. This is a number bond (1 + 7 = 8). They can also do the same for all of the number bonds to 8, by simply red and blue tiles into the same track (2 red + 6 blue, 3 + 5, 4 + 4 and so on). All of the number bonds for all the numbers are possible using this method! The board uses this tried and tested method of numerical development via a hands-on kinaesthetic approach upon which children will gain immense numerical confidence.
