With back panels version, a HDPE back panel is installed on the wall and the plastic bases are installed on the back panel. It can fit for most walls. The plastic bases are drilled on wall directly for the without back panels version. We recommend you select the tiles which come with back panels since these are more easily fitted and they will always be exactly in alignment. You will see that all tiles are available with and without Back panels. ONLY select Without Back Panel if your walls are precisely flat, plastered and level. There are limitations on the use of the "without back panel" version . It is suitable for the even and neat wall surface only. And it will require relatively more hole drillings on the wall.
